Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the eighth Hong Kong International Fair (Spring Edition) concluded on 9 April at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. What is the Difference Between DALI and DMX512?

DMX512 supports one-way communication. DALI supports two-way communication.
DMX512 protocol is simple. DALI protocol is complicated. DALI has more than 200 protocols. Different LED lamps need special extended protocols.
DMX512 adopts RS485 communication bus. DALI adopts low voltage power-line communication bus which provides maximum current 250ma for DALI devices.
DMX512 baud rate is 250K bit/s. DALI baud rate is 1200bit/s.
DMX512 adopts a single master and multi-salvers, which can connect 512 multi-salves. DALI also adopts a single master and multi-salvers which can connect 64 multi-salves.
DMX512 address can be set to manual mode. DALI address can be set to manual mode or master assigned automatically.
DMX512 sets groups according to the master. DALI sets 16 groups at most.
